Stitches

The week before we were leaving for Bear Lake, Hazen cut his toes up pretty bad at daycare. I got a phone call at work and had to leave to run Hazen to the InstaCare. At first, the doctor didn't think it was deep enough for stitches but after cleaning it out he ended up putting 7 stitches in his little toe. It was horrible!!! I had to hold him down across his chest and waist while the nurse held his legs and the doctor stitched him up. I thought it was bad enough that he was so sad, and then the doctor said he wouldn't be able to get it wet for 10 days. We left for Bear Lake 4 days later, and he was so sad that he couldn't swim with all the kids.  

We gave him a bath the day he got his stitches out, and we had a really hard time getting him out of the water.
